The Anti-Photo Shoot



In this project, using two different models, I manipulated them during a photo shoot. While they had no real idea what the shoot was for, I decided to sit them for an extended period of time in front of hot lights. I then either photographed them without warning after asking them to wait a minute and put on a song of their choice to entertain them or asked them to hold an expression for anywhere from 30 to 120 seconds. The results surprised me mostly in the coincidences that each model portrayed. I used males because in my experience female models tend to be focused on appearance. I also wanted consistency in the images.
